Our Methodology

AMA’s main objective is to enable companies to focus on their core business and it is our commitment to each and every client to provide only leading edge technology and the latest in popular software applications.  

How we Work

Our approach is based on an open, honest partnership with our clients and we have a code of behaviour for all staff to ensure that we consistently deliver professional services.  From sales through to support you will be treated with integrity, business understanding and a desire to make you our happiest customer.

The Consultation

We will make sure we have a full understanding of your business needs, working closely with you to help clarify your requirements.  We will demonstrate to you the systems that we are recommending and following initial consultation will provide you with a proposal stating:

  • Your business objectives for the new system
  • Key business pressures – timescales and budgets
  • Summary of solution key functionality
  • Secification of any bespoke enhancements
  • Detailed breakdown of solution costs
  • Breakdown of associated Software Support and Licence Fees
  • Hardware and software requirements

Delivering Value

A theme that underlines our activities is a constant awareness of the need to offer excellent value for money to our clients.  The result is a continually developing set of tried and tested products and services, thus allowing our clients to enhance and grow their solution in a cost effective way.

Implementation Strategy

Project Management is essential to the successful implementation of our products and services.  AMA Business Systems follow a structured methodology to project manage all of our software implementations.  AMA implementation projects will meet the following guidelines:

  • A controlled and organised start, middle and end.
  • Regular reviews of progress against plan.
  • Control of any deviations from the plan
  • The involvement of management and stakeholders at the right time and place during the project.
  • Good communication channels between the project manager and the rest of the organisation.

Project Timings

It is recommended that a phased approach be taken with the Project and a definitive schedule will be agreed at the project consultancy stage.  The timing of the implementation can be tailored according to business activity levels.  We would expect you to sign off each stage as and when you are satisfied that they have been completed.

The Ongoing Relationship

We understand that our implementation of your software is only the first stage of a successful system and a satisfied client.  AMA Business Systems will continue to offer you the same level of excellent service in the post implementation period as we did during the implementation.
