Norville Opticians
When looking for a new system, Norville Opticians realised that they required a complex integrated solution to enable them to achieve ideals. With complicated VAT regulations and retail management requirements, AMA Business Systems supplied Pegasus Opera II with XRL reporting, linked to the Sage POS EPoS solution - Norville’s requirements were met with with a tailored solution that managed all of their complex VAT and NHS charging requirements.
The company, who has traded since 1898 as opticians in Gloucester, operates 10 branches throughout the South West and use both the Pegasus Opera II and Sage POS solutions supplied and supported by AMA Business Systems.
The combined solutions needed to meet a number of complex requirements. Firstly, recording and collating sales figures from 10 branches and producing useful management reports was achieved with the use of Pegasus XRL and also reports from their Sage POS EPoS software. Particular brands and products can be monitored to identify trends in sales, produce sales campaigns and also forecast future turnover more accurately.
Other invaluable benefits of the integrated systems to Norville are the ability to utilise bar coding, electronic communications and deal with the large number of direct debit payments efficiently.
