It was all about achieving cost savings when The World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association decided it was time to replace their manual accounting system with a computerised solution.  By carrying out a thorough cost benefit analysis they decided to choose Pegasus Opera II from AMA Business Systems.

WPBSA, who are the governing body of professional snooker, have found the solution to be more effective, efficient and economical than their manual systems, allowing them to reduce their accounts team by half.  They have also brought their payroll in-house, by adding the Inland Revenue approved, integrated payroll module to their Opera II system.  This again has saved money and by utilising the PIR processing system they are much more efficient and more in control over their purchases.
